LG’s latest viral ad video for their LG Secret doesn’t have almost the same amount of creepiness as the first, but it’s way, way stupider. We’re not sure what message they’re trying to get across, that the LG Secret is fireproof or that the LG Secret is stupidproof. Both? [Crunchgear]

Am I crazy to admit that I actually enjoy the look of the design of this remote, called sPult? I don’t know how well it’d work—some of Yanko’s commenters have eviscerated it—but compared to some of the horrendous remotes I’ve used, it looks great. It was designed by Russian Yurii Smitana Perfilov, who must be quite nervous given today’s huge game.

As reported from an NBC affiliate, this surveillance video (from May 21st) has just been released that depicts a particularly vicious attack on a Columbus, OH, bus—all to acquire an iPhone. A hooded teen lunges at a man who was wearing headphones on his way off the bus. No one did anything to halt the attack (not that you can blame a woman with child for not stepping in). Surprisingly, despite sustaining injury from blows to the face and body, the passenger did not lose his iPhone. Anyone with info on the teen is asked to call 614-645-8477. [WCMH via Macblogz]

A lot of us waited for it (or maybe not), but now the singing and dancing flower toys from Takara Tomy are giving a comeback [JP], at least in Japan. The company yesterday announced the updated version, dubbed Flower Rock 2.0, will be sold only in this country beginning October 30th and for $57.

The new models are upgraded with a glow function. The petals and leaves will flash in up to 50 different colors, in rhythm with the music. The illumination can be adjusted in 5 levels. Owners can select between 7 different flash modes. The flowers can also be connected to external speakers.

Takara Tomy scored a huge hit with the first version of their flower toys (introduced in 1988), selling 8.5 million units all over the world.

It’s Friday, the day when you should reward yourself with at least one world wide web video at work with the sound turned up. Screw your judgmental co-workers. The only problem is, what video should you select? Without careful consideration of the media at hand, you could be Rickrolled, or even worse, think you’re watching the behind-the-scenes of the Sports Illustrated Swimsuit issue only to waste it on some guy eating potato chips for 10 minutes.

Fret not, friends. We have your Friday video after the jump. It’s a NERF office war of epic proportions. And it’s the best (SFW) thing we’ve seen online in a while.

Told you. [via ohgizmo]
