The Olympics have started. Beginning next Tuesday, we’ll witness some of the most finely-tuned athletes in the world battling it out on a little green table. Here’s to Olympic Table Tennis, one of the greatest sports of all time.

Now let’s take a look at the members of the US Table Tennis Team that’ll be competing in Beijing, shall we?

01074_142x190 Wang Chen returns to her birthplace, Beijing, to show everyone what’s what. She’s the two-time defending North American champ and lives in New York City.

Born: January 17, 1974 in Beijing, China

Residence: New York, New York

Height/Weight: 5’10” / 140 pounds

Event: Women’s Singles, Women’s Team

00953_142x190Crystal Huang lives in Southern California but often travels to her homeland to train. She says, “China has a lot more good players. The level is completely higher than here.” Ouch.

Born: July 18th, 1979 in Changsha, Hunan, China
