I haven’t been following cameras with as much fervor as I have in the past, so I’m not entirely sure if there’s a cult following for the 50D, but PB stumbled across the official Canon Japan page. We first saw the specs last week and they look great except for that 15.1-megapixel sensor. Speak about some excessive noise. But, there’s a test shot with the ISO set at 1600 and it looks great. The 50D is joined by an EF-S 18-200mm f/3.5-5.6 IS lens. No word on price or US launch.
